Cancer (Epigenetics)

Cancer doesn’t discriminate; men, women and children are all susceptible to this horrible disease that takes thousands of lives each and every year. At IMRIC, research is being done in conjunction with McGill University in the development of personalized cancer treatment. 


Many young people are diagnosed with diabetes, an irreversible disease that affects otherwise healthy people. The day-to-day care that diabetes requires is something that poses life-long challenges for those diagnosed. 

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder is the leading known cause of developmental disability in Canada. Innocent children contract this disorder due to maternal consumption of alcohol during pregnancy.
